Victory Junction :: Randleman, North Carolina

Victory Junction provides a camp experience at no cost for children with serious medical conditions. Founded by Adam Petty, son of racing car legend Richard Petty, the property’s large pond was in need of beautification. Smith Turf coordinated the project and called upon Aquascape Construction to carve a large and winding waterfall along the natural slope adjacent to the pond. Three hundred tons of rock, including boulders from the site, was placed to create a narrow waterfall at the top, which then twists and turns into a much wider waterfall at the bottom before emptying into the existing pond. Richard Petty had always envisioned a waterfall here and enjoys seeing the children marvel at the falls during their stay at the camp.
